Yotta DCL awarded first Scottish contract
Leamington Spa, UK: Yotta DCL, the UK’s largest surveying company, has announced its first contract to cross the Scotish borders. After competing against three other surveying companies, North Ayrshire awarded the contract to Yotta DCL to undertake an asset inventory of its entire network.
North Ayrshire is a typical semi-rural authority with approximately 1100km of highway. The majority of the roads are unclassified. This mix of roads presents many challenges for asset collection but Yotta DCL have the experience necessary to execute and deliver accurate data for a lower cost than previously available via a traditional walked asset collection survey. This is of particular interest to North Ayshire as it far more economical and effective. The added benefit is the ability to load the data into their asset management software for day to day use and analysis.
