Yotta DCL wins contracts worth over £1.3m in first four months of 2010
Major new accounts include Leicestershire, Bracknell Forest and Wakefield
Leamington Spa, UK: Yotta DCL, the UK’s leading highways surveying company, today announced it has signed contracts for its SCANNER, CVI, DVI and Asset Inventory surveys with 36 different local authorities in the first four months of 2010. The business is worth over £1.3m, which represents a significant increase over the same period last year.
Yotta will be completing a full SCANNER survey for Leicestershire County Council, previously a WDM customer, which is due to start in July this year.
Daniel Rawle, Highways Asset Manager at Leicestershire County Council said: “We decided to switch to Yotta DCL for our SCANNER survey this year because of the added benefits Yotta provides.”
Bracknell Forest has signed a four year deal for SCANNER, SCRIM and CVI surveys and Yotta will also be providing Wakefield Metropolitan District Council with a complete asset inventory. Both projects are due to start in summer 2010.
Other new wins include London Borough of Hounslow, Carillion, Bridgend Borough Council, Rhondda Cynon Taff Council, London Borough of Enfield, Bury Metropolitan Borough Council, Mason Clarke and MGWSP.
“We’ve seen a fantastic start to 2010 at Yotta and I’m confident this will continue,” said Nick Smee, Managing Director at Yotta DCL. “Nearly a third of this revenue is from new business, which means not only are we growing, but our existing customers keep coming back.”
