Yotta DCL provide asset inventory for Bury MBC
Leamington Spa, UK: Yotta DCL, the leading highways surveyor, is pleased to announce it has been awarded the contract to carry out a full asset inventory of Bury Metropolitan Borough Council’s highway network. The work, due to begin in September, will be completed using Yotta’s innovative asset collection vehicle, equipped with 6 high-definition cameras, offering a full street-level view of the highway.
Yotta has been signed up to give Bury MBC a full understanding of the location and condition of specific highways assets, such as carriageway, footway and several items of street furniture. The council has a priority to continually improve public roads and pavements to ensure the highway network is safe for everyone to use.
Data collected by Yotta will help Bury ensure their highway assets meet service delivery needs in terms of their condition, suitability, cost, location, safety and their environmental impact. By using the data Bury will also be able to produce accurate asset valuations, model depreciation, and forecast maintenance and replacement costs. The data will also play a key part in enabling Bury to keep their asset management system up to date.
