We offer a wide range of training courses and services. This includes both fixed date and customised training courses. All sessions are structured but informal to encourage participation. To support these sessions, we have a suite of training laptops to enable you to explore many of the concepts discussed through real life examples and exercises.

Our Courses:

UKPMS Fundamentals

An introduction to UKPMS, covering the basic and essential concepts of UKPMS including: networks, the backbone of UKPMS, inventory data inputs and cross sectional positions, condition data inputs and UKPMS outputs.

UKPMS – A deeper understanding

Explores UKPMS processing tools in more detail and provides the user with the knowledge to make more informed decisions when selecting maintenance schemes.

MARCHpms for beginners

This hands-on MARCHpms course is for the new user, and follows on from our UKPMS Fundamentals course.

Footways – Treading a careful path.

Review established and innovative footway survey strategies, and extract the information you need for effective management of your footway network.

Condition data and UKPMS

Gain an insight into the wide range of condition data we can collect for you and its analysis using UKPMS and bespoke techniques we’ve developed. Our team will also demonstrate our hardware and explain the technology for established techniques and new developments.

SCANNER and the Road Condition Indicator (RCI)

Addresses a variety of relevant subjects focussed on providing you with a fuller understanding of your data and how it’s processed in UKPMS. This course covers the changes made to SCANNER National Indicator calculation over the years and explores the various elements influencing those indicators. We will also demonstrate the wider usage of SCANNER data and shed some light on the SCANNER Rule Sets including treatment selection using the latest UKPMS Rule Set.

Asset Management.

Make asset management a reality by using your UKPMS and Nano asset inventory software together. This course looks at the idea of asset valuation, long term asset planning and forward maintenance schemes. It has been designed to help you make the most out of your inventory survey and further enhance your development of asset management practice.
