Yotta DCL’s management team has the responsibility for the long term direction of the business

Nick Smee – Managing Director

Nick has been involved with the management and growth of several technology companies over the last twenty years who have provided services and software into public and private sector organisations both domestically and internationally. In 1991 Nick joined Minerva Industrial Systems where he was Sales Director before running their M2 Systems subsidiary. In 2002 Nick moved to AIM listed Mediasurface where he was the Sales Director for the UK and US territories. Nick joined Yotta DCL as Managing Director in January of 2010.

David Deakin – Finance Director

David joined Yotta DCL in January 2008 after nine years with AIM listed Computer Software Group. David was part of the successful Business Solutions management team, and has a wide range of experience including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Computer Software Group in 1999 David spent 10 years in Accounting Practice, becoming a member of the Association of Certified Accountants in 1996.

Simon Phillips – UK Commercial Director

Simon has over 17 years experience within Highways Maintenance and surveying. Simon leads all of our UK commercial team which encompasses Account Management, Sales and Professional Services.

Manish Jethwa – Chief Technical Officer

After completing a Masters in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, Manish went on to pursue a PhD in Automatic Urban Modeling from imagery at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At Yotta DCL, Manish is responsible for the development of new hardware and software products as well as managing the Operations Team for data capture (surveyors) and data processing. His role also includes responsibility for all resource planning and overseeing all programming to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Simon Topp – Business Development Director

Simon joined Yotta DCL in 2007 and spent his first year pioneering the new asset inventory survey methodology within the highways industry. He has worked with many Local Authorities over the last three years helping develop their asset management and maintenance strategies. Simon is responsible for leading our expansion into new marketplaces and geographic territories.

Anna Morris – HR Manager

Anna joined Yotta DCL in September 2009 after 6 years as Head of Human Resources at Advanced Alchemy Ltd, a Channel Marketing company based in Oxfordshire. Prior to this, she worked for a National recruitment agency in Banbury. Anna now looks after the HR function at Yotta DCL where she manages all aspects HR strategy, employee relations, recruitment, policies and procedures.
